I work at the carlisle inn in sugarcreek, ohio. It is such a great hotel. It's in amish country, which is very touristy. Surrounding the hotel is amish gift shops, an amish resturant, amish furniture store, and more. If you go out more.. there is a ton more craft gift shops, coffee shops, a zoo, and lots of country. check it out.

DramaQueen - since you are interested in Michigan hotels, you might like to know that there is an amazing new hotel being built in Holland, MI right now. It is called City Flats and it will be a boutique hotel, so each room is unique, and will include a restaurant and bar. It is the first LEED certified hotel in the midwest and will open in December of this year.

The Bedford Springs Resort would be a great edition to the show. It has a remakable history. History is Reborn…A Legend is Retold… The legend began over 200 years ago at Bedford Springs, where the seven mineral springs bubbling forth became a mecca for those seeking their restorative powers. From Native Americans to patients of Dr. John Anderson who came to ‘take the waters,’ the area gained fame as a source of rejuvenation. The first Bedford Springs Hotel was built in 1806 and its guest registry soon included U.S. Presidents and members of high society. The opulent resort was home to one of the first golf courses in America (originally designed by Spencer Oldham, then redesigned by both A.W. Tillinghast and Donald Ross) as well as one of the nation's first indoor pools. Designated a National Historic Landmark in 1984, the resort closed two years later and was purchased in 1998 with plans to restore it to its original grandeur. It is now reopened and Better then Ever. www.bedfordspringsresort.com

I’d really like to see Newport RI on the show. I can think of a number of hotels that fit the bill for the show. Castle Hill Inn is one, also the Viking hotel, or the Newport Hyatt. There are mansions from the Victorian period, Great shopping boutiques and beautiful views of the ocean and Narragansett Bay. Check out http://www.gonewport.com/ for some info.

I think Sam should definately check out the Four Seasons in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Amazing rooms, spa, dining, and just a short distance to the majestic Rockies. You can get lost in the charm of the West, or enjoy the local shops of Jackson. At night you can star gaze or head out to enjoy the night life. If you are lucky, you might even catch a glimpse at some of the movie stars that live or vacation there. A must see for every country music fan would be the Bar J Wranglers. They have shows nightly during the summer. If you go during the winter you are within minutes of some of the best skiing and snowboarding around. No matter what time of year this is a destination not to miss!

You overlooked the great hotels in the South. If I had to pick just one, well then it has to be Blackberry Farm in Walland, TN. Excellent wine list, beautiful views, long list of amenities, complete with the traditional Southern Hospitality, and a guaranteed indescribable experience.
