As kamaaina, born and raised on Oahu, I am somewhat emabarrassed to admit that in only a few episodes, you have seen and done about 50 times more in my home state that I did in 25 years there.

I am presently digging in for winter in the Windy City. I just bought some new thermal underwear (for those frigid, 20-below waits at the El stations and bus stops), a snow blower, and a couple of new snow shovels. Life in in the islands never prepared me for this!

The Username I've chosen doesn't reflect what I eat so much as it does what I do for a living. I'm a sushi chef at the Park Hyatt Chicago. We're right next to the Four Seasons where you've already been. I believe that the Park Hyatt's restaurant NoMI, is the only place where you will find sushi and sashimi on the menu in a French restaurant. It might be worth a look! Hint. Hint.
