Not a whole lot in the surrounding areas (it's in Greensboro, NC about 30 minutes from the Appalachian Mountains) but definitely one of the finest hotels I've been to. This one is definitely worth checking out.

Looks nice, just isolated (like you said) looks more like a corperate retreat type place then a great hotels episode though.........
