The public library is a great place to pick out videos for free. I stopped reading books in childhood. I swore if I ever did it would be to make movies. Then that gets aggrivating not have a movie camera while your reading. Just a few Stephen King then I retired. Favorites were Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Sweet Valley High Judy Blume. I became one of those types of readers. Where they worry about you as a adolescent and stop worrying about you as you grow up. But my Mom. My Dad built her a library in the master suite. Half of the room is sectioned off for office space. It used to be a office they shared, until the maids quarters were available which is now my fathers office and publishing room. Its covered to the ceiling of books, wall to wall. She needs to open her own book shop really. And my sister, her other daughter is a great reader. She had the whole Laura Ingles Wilder series which is actually a real persons episodic life told instead of a hit popular TV series, and on one of our vacations when we were little we went to visit the home. I sometimes read a few of her books. They both love Erma Bombeck. My Mom while growing up lived by the Huntington Library in San Marino. You can see some of my poetry at poetry.com
