Hi,

Traveling to Europe for our honeymoon, and would love recommendations of where to stay while we are on our honeymoon. Ideally I would love to stay in historical places or castles, but am open to other realistic possibilities. Does anyone have any suggestions for a place to stay in Florence, and/or Paris?

It really depends on your budget, Joezette. You'll find everything from 70 euros to 1000+++ euros/day, again depending on what you want to spend on a Paris hotel. If you are looking for a palace residence there are many from which to choose, particularly in wine country if not in Paris itself. Expect several hundred euros per night to be the average, and up. It's getting quite common these days for French (and other) investors to renovate castles for the hospitality industry so you are entering a target rich environment.

From London take the Eurostar through the Chunnel to Paris, enjoy your stay and then take the TGV train south. Incidentally, as you pass through Lyon you are only a short train ride from Geneva if Switzerland interests you.

Bon voyage & best wishes --

last saturday, we've finally try another
economical way of spending a night in a hotel, this chance, the hotel called, Copthorne King Hotel located in Havelock Singapore, not hurting your budget that much, but sure, have given your kids another different & fun experience to remember in their lifetime. we gave a try to our ABN-AMRO card offers of hotels at a subsidized prices. The executive club suite we got, normally as per their listing is S$800 , we got it for S$150+ , including predinner cocktail, plus the use of the amenities you want, but for an overnight stay, we're lucky to have tried, their free dinner cocktail, and breakfast for 2, the rest you've got to pay, played in the mini golf area, swam in their pool, bubbled jacuzzi, and surfed the internet and watched cable channels , as long as we can remember we want;and enjoyed bathing another time around. including the extra snacks we tried, and taxis, and extra rides outsides, we spent ~ S$500. with nothing very special occasion to hold, we have turned one of our regular nights into an experience fun to remember, especially in the eyes of our kids.

by friday, to fly back Philippines. it will take sometime for me to view this forum, and watch SB, maybe. yet we'll see.

so long...
