I think that Samantha MUST visit the Inn on the Blue Horizon in Vieques. Just 8 miles off the coast of Puerto Rico, in the heart of the Spanish Virgin islands..this former sugar plantation has been hailed as the "Best Kept Secret in the Caribbean". Well, thanks to some celebrity stays and well-timed pieces in Architectural Digest and Travel & Leisure...it won't be a secret much longer. Host James Weis is a "star" himself, and will make your stay the most pleasurable experience. I just loved this place, and cried when I left. P.S. Great Food at the Blue Macaw Restaurant, too!

Vieques is an absolutely beautiful island, deserted beaches are plentiful if you know where to go...
