There are many beautiful antebellum homes around Natchez, Mississippi which I believe Ms. Brown, viewers and production staff might enjoy, the folks there have two annual "pilgrimages" in March and October when their magnificent technicolor landscaped homes are opened with docents in period costumes providing the tours, mint juleps not included and very romantic. The place is so neat I'm making a video essay for broadcast on local cable-tv here in Michigan. Also, for something completely different, last summer while doing a fine arts video in St. Petersburg, Russia I stayed at the new Baltica Star Resort at Konstantinovsky Palace about ten miles from downtown St. Petersburg, located on the Gulf of Finland. Producing a video in Russia at times can be an adventure in itself, yet they've developed this lovely five star 130 room botique hotel adjacent to the newly rennovated ($280 million) palace where the G-8 nations held their summit meeting in 2003, Guests have private use of the Palace and the Park with jogging trails and gardens. . . vodka's not included. . .good wines however . . .c'est la vie.
