Boy they sure do know how to grow em in Wyoming. Jerry the horse shoe guy in particular. I really liked this episode. Sam looked so uncomfortable and out of her element. I think she really shows her true character in these moments, and let's face it, she's awesome! Favorite quote "I haven't been in a room full of smoke like this since college."
Oh jtaylor34, you and I were on the same thinking track! I found myself easily distracted during this episode. I have never been into the whole ranching / rodeo lifestyle so I was basically watching for cute Sam moments. Luckily there were a few.
I watched this episode with a friend and remember telling them, take away the horse, the western clothes and that is one cute guy.
Seriously, I even thought the manure guy was cute. You know they're good lookin when they still look good shoveling manure and clippin horse toe nails!!
This episode really drove home for me just how sad this series is. It’s as if Samantha is being subjected to some cruel high school hazing ritual or college sorority initiation. It’s really sad to see someone you like so much publicly humiliated.
Great episode. Always longed for a camping trip to Wyoming (anywhere near the Yellowstone or Grand Teton area). I've driven to Colorado during the summer a number of times for business. And I'd definately have to say that most of the scenery, that I so lazily drove past, was absolutely amazing; especially just past Denver heading toward Aspen/Grand Junction. The green treetops mesh with the various earth-tones, only to create waves of olive brown as you whisk by. The interstate winds and curves around enormous rocks of land, at times with the Colorado River hugged alongside it. WOW! Truly an unforgettable experience (especially if you bring a camera) =D

Living in Cody, WY I was thrilled to see Samantha had been here and did a show on a weekend in Cody and nearby Shell. I only wish I had known she was here and could have seen her. I think she gave an excellent overview of life here in a small town in Wyoming, and how much fun visitors and locals alike have here. I certainly consider it a privelege to live in such a beautiful place.
