I love the new shows. It seems like each one is better that the previous one. Can't wait to see London tonight!

I thought the London show was wonderful! She did show a lot for just a weekend. However, can most Americans fly to London only for a weekend??
I was surprised she was doing her weekend show in London! I guess if you live in NYC and would take an over night flight and be there by morning would be easier. On the other hand, London is so expensive, maybe two days only,is what we can afford. The good news about London is that many of their museums are free, and Sam even brought that up.
But anyway, in spite of London being so far way, I enjoyed the show!

loved tonights show. i would need more than a weekend to see london. LOL that last market sam went too (i forgot the name); the one where sam bought the bullet belt; my daughters would love to shop there. it was way cool to see the cermony for the locking the door at the london towers.

i'm a diabetic, so I don't drink. loved the green cabbie tea/coffee houses.

sam, please show more places without alcoholic beverages. thanks.

That would be Camden Market. I always considered that a true British punk market. Love it!

I read in Sam's blog that she was having a hard time adjusting to the jet lag, you would never know it.

Another enjoyable show.

After having traveled to London last year, it was great experiencing the sights and sounds of the city once again last night. I second her fascination with St. Paul’s (as well as Westminster Abbey). But unlike Sam, while I would have loved to have climbed up to 400 plus stairs to enjoy that view, the combination of my knees and two days of sightseeing meant there was no way that was going to happen.

And Sam’s account of her bout with jet lag brought back more memories. Having been my first trip overseas, all my preparations couldn’t stop me from hitting the wall around one in the afternoon that first day. That would be the reason why I would balk at making a weekend of trip to Europe (as if I would feel financially comfortable with such a lifestyle in this lifetime).

Does anyone know the name of the Indian restaurant in the Notting Hill area that was featured during this show?

While the show was enjoyable. I got the distinct impression that entry to St. Paul's Cathedral is free. If so, this is a major error on the show's part. St. Paul's cost 10 uk pounds per adult. I know I was there in July. The show needs to clarify this fact for the viewing audience. You can access parts of the Cathedral without paying, but the Gallery and Dome is part of the entry fee. The only way to get free entry is during service, which you cannot freely wander at that time. The other way is with the purchase of the London Pass which gives you free access to many of London's sites.

I loved the episode! I loved it so much, I wrote a post about it on my blog. I don't think she showed so much about London in Passport to Europe. This definitely delves deeper into a destination than other travel shows. And I'd also like to spend more than just a weekend, maybe a whole month.

Can't wait for her China show in the next few days!

I think the Indian restaurant Samantha went to is called Malabar. I was in London in October and it looks just like it. Can anyone confirm this?

Not only do I want to know the name of the Indian restaurant, but I'd like to know what they ordered as well!

I can't believe she went to my most favorite Pub in London. The Wenlock Arms. I go there every time I'm in London. Friends took me there and I've always gone back.

I always get a sausage sandwich there too.

I'm heading over in a couple of weeks. I'm going to try Wenlock Arms or one of the recommended pub's on their site. Can anyone tell me what the store Sam visited in London that had English items that are no longer made or hard to find? It was just before she had a cheese sandwich. Thanks.
