Few weeks ago my friend visited Bangkok and their first stop was at Grand Palace Bangkok. This place is really cool and nice to visit. Interested to know more about it? Check out this website, http://www.thailandsworld.com.
Reading all about Bangkok brings me back home. I was born in Ubon, Thailand and was adopted in 1966. I left Hongkong on my 3rd birthday (1967) with my adopted mother and my adopted father was in the United States army at that time. We lived in Washington D.C. At age 10,I became a United States citizen. I still keep my Thai name. In 1973,I went back to Bangkok to live with my adopted family. I attended the International School of Bangkok (ISB) until 1979. I finished high school at Woodrow Wilson High School in Washington D.C., in 1982. I currently live in Independence, Missouri with my husband. Someday I would like to take my husband and tour all over Thailand. We often eat at a Thai Restuarant (Bhua Thai) in Blue Springs, Missouri. Phad Thai is one of my favorites as well as Tom Yum Soup. I do not know how to cook Thai food, but I love to eat it! Lulu's Noodle shop in Kansas City is also a good place to eat.
