Pork Satay:

Location: Sukhumvit 38 (right under BTS Thonglor)

There are lots of street vendors along Sukhumvit 38, but one stood out from the rest which was pork satay vendor. The aroma touched my nose and lured me in so I had no other choice, but to try. The satay was cooked on a charcoal grill so it was almost fat free. I could only explain the first bite as a slice of heaven in my mouth; the meat was soft and sweet with the peanut sauce that you optionally dip in (trust me, it’s unforgettable with the sauce).

Pork satay is a common dish in a Thai restaurant; one can also run into a vendor on the street side. However the vendor on Sukhumvit 38 is to die for. But no worries, since it’s such a common dish, you don’t need to look around so much, you may just even ask the hotel or place you’re staying at about this dish, chances are, they’ll have it or point out the closest restaurant or vendor that sells pork satay.

Bon Appetite (or in Thai, kin hai aroi!)

You know the best place for pork satay is near Saparn put, on Thonburi side. Originally, it was a one big Satay vendor, but there was a family fight that splitted the family into two, and so did the vendors. Both vendors located about 50meters from one another!! They have the same recipe, so it doesn't matter which one you get the satay from.
