I am an American who just spent the past semester abroad. I was based in Ljubljana, Slovenia, but my friends and I ventured to Croatia, Bosnia and Hercegovina, Montenegro, and Serbia. They are gorgeous countries with vibrant cultures, wonderful food and nightlife, and breathtaking landscapes. On top of all that-it's cheap in comparison to Western Europe. This region is grossly underappreciated by American travelers in Europe. I think you would just LOVE the area. It would certainly be a fun and interesting new venture for Passport to Europe.
