What did the squirrel taste like in West Virginia? Do you think I'll also like it? I love that part of the U.S., esp. the Great Smoky Mountains (except for the Highland Games at Grandfather Mountain - Linville, N.C.). I've also been to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, Tenn. - no parking available! I think I'll really like the bear, coon, and venison in the Smokies. One of these years, I'd like to return to G.S.M. NP and go visit Biltmore Estate in Asheville, N.C. You forgot the Blue Ridge mountains in western Virginia; I've also been in that area, along with Loudon Co. in Northern Va. What do you think I should try the next time I go back there for their annual foxhound show?

Hey Andrew. Just wanted to stop in and tell you i LOVE the show. You tell it like it is. If it's something putrid, you let it be known and in such a gracious way as not to offend anyone. I just havve one suggestion: Is there anyway that the editors can turn down your vocals as you take that first and next couple of bites? It's just really loud and nasty sounding. Keep up the good work everyone on the show. i hope the new seasons keep on comin

Bizarre Foods is the reason why I caught the travel bug and I think you and Anthony Bourdain are a refreshing alternative to the conventional TV shows on cable.
My question to you is how to you and Anthony keep your cholesterol under control? I hope that you get a good chance to eat healthy on the off days.
I have three recommendations:
1. Film an episode on Bizarre Foods in Western New York (Buffalo& Rochester) should be a hit!!
2. Film an episode in Israel; I am sure they have a lot of fascinating foods that your viewers would love to see
3. You and Anthony Bourdon should do more shows together, like the one in Brooklyn.

Hi Andrew, why you had never being to the Dominican Republic? I think you should go there. Many poeple eat rare foods including cats.
The whole island is full of interesting types of food.

Why do you put down American Food when you're eating food with flies buzzing around it. I'm sick of you saying that all the meat in America has had the flavor bred out of it.I like to be able to eat food without worrying if it will kill me.I'll take sanitary with less flavor over fly flavored meat anyday.

I was just wondering where I can get the "odd" stuff that you use in your recipes on here. For example, mirin and dashi and duck...we don't have those things around here.
I LOVE your show, by the way, and that is saying a LOT, since I don't generally like TV. I watch it while I am working out...lol.

I was watching one a few months back where you were in Africa and towards the end they served you a popcorn like snack. I was thinking it was Sorghum, but cannot really remember. You said it was not bad at all, very nutty...almost like a cross between popcorn and corn nuts or an actual hazelnut.

Can you please let me know what type of grain it was...as I would like to get some here in the states and try popping it...also any information on how they popped it up would be good.

Also, if that episode is available or not online for download for viewing?

Hello Andrew, i have to say, i really love your show and the dedication you put into it. i have seen that you visit Mexico City which is a very beautiful place, But you havent visited El Salvador. This place is very beautiful and the food is so magnificent, you will love it. You will also love the rivers and the beaches El Salvador has to offer. Thanks a lot!

I have a question for Andrew. I am a big fan of Bizarre Foods, but haven't watched the new show much as its not as geared in the same way to unique foods and travel as the other series.
I understand the need to expand and take the series further, but I really miss the old show.
My question is more of a suggestion:
How about doing HOLIDAY Bizarre Food SPECIALS??
Halloween is coming and I LOVED last years scary show and was looking forward to this years. Also Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc.
Maybe a few special food shows here and there just for fun?

I watched last night one of shows of Andrew surprisingly I learned he was Jewish. If he was really Jewish how come he is eating PORK. I never know anybody eats that much PORK. But been Jewish and eating that much Pork that's just so hysterical.

Yes...I have a question...I absolutely LOVE this show...but my question is this: Why must you be SO rude when you eat? I got to the point where I watch the show, but turn around and cover my ears or mute the tv when you take bites. You would think that being on international and national television that your manners would be in check, but seriously, just because you are sampling "bizarre" foods from around the globe, does not mean you have to eat like the pig you are consuming in an odd way. Again, let me reiterate how much I love this show, and you as a host, but PLEASE Mr. Zimmern, get some table manners and 1. Don't stick your tongue out when you take a bite, we don't need to see it, 2. DON'T smack your food once it's in your mouth, and 3. DON'T talk while eating...we can see the bug guts and bull balls swirling around in your mouth..WAIT til you have finished your bite, THEN tell the people what you think of it. It's table manners 101...and proper...LOVE THE SHOW!!!

i am a fan of andrews but what really makes me angry is when he puts the food in his mouth and without tasting it he starts looking at the host as if hes gonna rape them and tehn he makes sex sounds before he even tastes the food how do u know how good it tastes before u even chew it? and chew your food well before swallowing and stop talking soooooooooooo much when u eat. taste the food and then comment on it dont comment on every bite thats rediculous.
