I was wondering, as I watched the Samoa episode, why Andrew has not visited Guam. It is a trust territory of the US so no special travel documents are required outside of a passport and English is spoken there. Guam is a beautiful island with great food and quite a bit of BIZARRE foods Andrew would love or love to hate. Just curious.

Talofa Andrew. I really enjoyed your episode on Samoa. Just a little clarification: The sea cucumber you showed on your show is actually called "Loli" locally and makes up the white, "rock hard" bits in the bottle of "sea". The "sea" slug from which the guts in the bottle come from is actually a different species: it is smaller and grayish in color. Loved the show though! Cheers and thank you for your time. Soifua.

Hi Andrew,

Talofa Andrew, just got through watching your show in Samoa. I really think you were a Samoan in your other life?

Congrats and thank you for going out that far. Thank you for strongly emphasizing on the "umu" portion, how intrigue it was to have the pig be prepared so quickly.

With this been said, I think you should re-visit all the countries that you've allready been to and take a look at other bizarre foods they have.

My question is: What did you think of the Palolo that you ate on the boat? The so call caviar of the pacific? You think that's something that can imported? Smile

My whole family loves your show and we hope to hear back from you.

This coconut is for you!

The question my husband and I would love to know...what do dog and horse taste like in Asia?

We realize these aren't politically-correct foods to highlight in the US, but they are all over Asia and we're curious to know your descriptive review on them. Many thanks - love the show!

I'm so sorry that I missed your trip to the Philippines. I lived there for 3 years as a military child and half my heritage is filipino. Do you think you'll be going back? I suggest trying tuyo (fish - salted/dried). It's very pungent (I've run people out of my house when I've cooked it) and uniquely flavored.

First of all I am a big fan of your show. Looking forward to the new episodes coming out. I am a fellow Chef and really enjoy your passion for food. While watching your show the other day I though of an idea for you. What do you think about a reality based show called something like "Hanging wih Zimmern". Have around 5 contestants that come on the show with you. The idea is how long can they hang with the bizzare foods that you eat. Final contestant wins some sort of prize. I thought of this idea while watching your show with my family and talking about if we could eat what you were eating or not. I would volunteer to be on the show win or lose to meet you. Our whole family loves to watch. Very entertaining!

Hi Andrew! Tony Bourdain recently did an episode on Colombia. Colombia has some great food and I'm sure there's lots of weird stuff for you to eat, like fried ants and your favorite, blood sausage (morcilla)! Will you be doing a Colombia episode anytime soon?

Hi Andrew. I really love the show and I am very interested in all of the different foods you experience, I will try any food once. I live in Orlando, FL and was wondering where in my area would I find a farmers market that sell the rare food items or some of the rare items shown on your show. I like to keep things exciting in my kitchen and would like to expand out of the traditional foods.

Dear Andrew,

As a foodie-in-training (F.I.T) what kinds of "fun" Smile things do I have to look forward to as far as my lower intestine is concern? Is there an adjustment time as with all major diet changes? Eek

Deep fried, I'm in!!

hey Andrew!
I was born in Venezuela and now live in the U.S.
In Venezuela, in the city of Merida, there is an ice cream parlor, beware for it has no ordinary ice cream Roll Eyes . They have bizzare flavors such as cheese, garlic, rice, meat, grass, anything you can think of, it's probably there. You should try it, I've never tried it but my mom and dad have and they say it's good.

I admire Andrew's curiousity and philosophy that epitomizes - Seek and You shall Find - whether its a good fungus or an exotic meal. I do have a question about what I think I do not see i.e. how does he actually prepare for such an ordeal where he seems to zip in and out of towns eating food that clearly he too has never concieved as being food?
1. Does he have to take specific medication prior to visiting far flung corners of the planet?
2. What does his doctor think of his gut?
3. Does he actually only taste the foods or does he consume a serving as would be by the locals?
4. Are there any after effects that he has felt after a rather memorable meal?

Many thanks, burp,

Another foodie - Uday

Hi Andrew, I love your show but sometimes you really worry me. Have you ever contracted a parasite or food poisoning from eating raw meat or from eating food from street venders? Thanks for answering -- everytime I watch your show, it is all I think about: how sick you are goig to get! God bless you -- you are a brave man.

I lived in germany for about seven years and in Bayern there is a food called kessel fleisch. It is very good and I was wondering if Andrew is planning on going to germany and if he's ever even heard of it?
