I love Barcelona, possibly my favorite city besides New York, but as good as the market on the Ramblas is, Andrew missed an opportunity in Spain: In Valencia is, what I was told, the lartgest indoor market in Europe. Housed in what looked like an art deco church, this place was a food lover's fantasy!! Much larger than Barcelona's, and just an amazing place! By the way, I agree that Horchata is unpleasant. But find that the national dishes of most cultures are unpalatable if you're not of that culture. But that is another story. And did you know that the Chinatown Ice Cream Factory on Bayard St. in NY makes a Durian ice cream flavor, ripe with all the olfactory delight of that fruit? I tasted it, but wasn't in a perverse enough mood to get a scoop, so I stuck with almond cookie. Anyway, keep up the good work. Love the show.
