I would like to suggest that Andrew Z. travels to Romania, my native land. There he will find plenty of bizarre foods, gorgeous landscapes, and hospitable people. We are one of those populations that do not like to waste any part of an animal. I think that he will be excited to try tongue: roasted or in hunter sauce, brains: scrambled with eggs, fried or "natur", sweetbreads, tripe soup- OK, basically all organs. We also have some popular dishes that turn the stomach of any average American: carp, pork or turkey in aspic always makes my boyfriend gag. At Eastertime, an organ meatloaf called drob de miel is another favorite. We make horse and bear pastrami. We eat snails. He will also be interested to see how the mountain shepherds make cheese and other dairy products. We also use a variety of game, like hare, pheasant, boar, deer, bear. The only thing we don't do-as far as I know- is insects. But I think there are plenty of foods that will satisfy him and the theme of this fascinating show. I really hope that the producers consider this wonderful destination for the future.

A second vote for Transylvania/Romania! I'd like to see Andrew try blood pie.
