Travel Channel

I hate the ads! Yes I can choose to view other channels when this show is on and I WILL! However, the viewing of these ads seems to be out of my control. This is way too much - reality shows have run rampant and this show is just ridiculous and shouldn't even be aired - I for one will choose something else, or nothing rather than watch this sick creation of a supposedly good TV show!

Ok, so make a "special" about this kind of stuff if you must, but a series? I guess there is room for everything but the commercials are more than enough on the subject. IMO

Xtine, I am sorry if a series about bizarre foods bothers you, but a special about bizarre foods would be lacking in substance and educational value. The normal episode of BF is one hour and they cover just a few foods from the civilization where they are at the moment. There is a lot more food out there in the world than anyone could possibly cover in a one-hour 'special.' If it bothers you that much, then don't watch it. Also, if it bothers you that much, go away and let those of us who enjoy it do so in peace.

The ads are out there for those of us who DO like it and to let those who don't know about it yet know it is there for their viewing pleasure if they find it appealing to them.
