I know that you have been to the major asian countries, but have you been to some of the lesser known ones? The Philippines has some WONDERFUL dishes, including pancit, lechon, adobo, and many others. Then there are the eggs w/the embryo still inside (I forget what they are called).

Have you been to Korea? I have heard kim-chi described as Korean saurkraut - but they have no taste in common, that I can find. How about Cambodia, Thailand, and Indonesia?

Ah..the 3rd world Philippines. The eggs you refer to are as follows. The "embryo" is not an embryo but a fully developed bird. When the bird is fully grown and about to hatch, it starts to peck thru the egg. At this point, the highly intellectual people of this worthless country, then BOIL THE ANIMAL ALIVE, fully grown, in it's shell, regardless of it's screeching in pain and suffering. Such a poor creature is then eaten..head..feathers...by the this redeeming culture who brought us Imelda Marco's and her 1,000 pairs of shoes while her people rotted in poverty. And the Koreans...another great people we should have made kindling of during the Korean War. They have picnics, hang dogs from trees, beat them to death and broil them alive as they think the more pain an animal endures, the better they taste. You are truly a sick individual for even writing this post in favor of these countries eating habits. Pain and suffering is rampant in these countries to not only the animals but to it's own people. If you love the food of these countries so very much, I suggest you move there permanantly so there would be no need for you to watch it here. But good luck in finding a TV in one of their slums. We have enough idiots here in the US already watching such a disgusting show who take pleasure in watching animal cruelty. And take Zimmern with you, as he is nothing but a second rate moron with no feelings either. You truly disgust me, sir or madame.

wait-a-min this show says BIZARRE FOODS? why do u seem to put 3rd world food in such a bad way? i mean thats what people eat there and considered there delicacies. so u gotta respect that! I admire AZ doing what most westerners wouldn't even consider doing it. Maybe AZ should go to your place and cook you some of those dishes. ( yes I tired that egg you describe, its not that bad )

ugot2bkiddingme, give it a s rest. I think no one cares. You think people are cruel for eating a "fully developed bird" still developing inside an egg? Please, why don't you take that motivation and stop people from aborting their unwanted babies. Open up a shelter of some sort in these 3rd world counties you so high disregard and starting by helping these uwanted HUMAN souls and EDUCATE those that don't know better instead of hiding behind your computer monitor like a TRUE coward. Put your "EDUCATION" into better use rather than attack people for something you disagree about.
