Hi Andrew- Love the show, I find that it is best to try to not only experience the culturally, but also eat culturally.
The Haggis reminded me of a childhood favorite, Kishka......... Kishka Pork snouts and pork jowls combined with spices and barley make for this special meat product. Fully cooked, all you have to do is simmer, or pan fry the meat. Eat it with potatoes and a vegetable or just spread it on a piece of bread or crackers, and start eating.
or another Polish favorite Cznaria (Duck Blood Soup) YUMMM...they tried to get me to eat this saying it was CHOCOLATE SOUP! I will admit that I love the Kishka though even though I know what is in it, great eating. Pax

I would love to try Haggis, the problem is I don't know of any place in the Boston area where you may find this dish.
For the first time, I want to try a good one so I can adequately judge whether I like it or not.
