I understand that your show is about bizarre foods, however there is no need to show such horrible and grusome things as shooting an arrow in a cows neck so that you can drink its blood. Its obvious that that is not healthy and discusting, so I dont unerstand why the travel channel's producers would allow something like that to be showed on tv. How about in the next episode I come and shoot an arrow in your neck; but I'll be careful to not kill you, I'll just make sure that youre hurting enough to know that it is a pain that no one should experience.

It is called Culture. Vegans are morons anyway. Humans are designed to eat meat. Meat means something dies. Get over yourself and or go enjoy some soy tofurkey and chase it down with some soy milk (soy juice, lets be honest. You can't milk a soy bean their fore it is not MILK).

The abuse of animals on this show is clearly upsetting to many people so why is it being aired? It is one thing to raise animals for food, it is another to torture them and then air it on television as entertainment. Does the Travel Channel have a mission or corporate statement?
If so I would like to see where animal torture is relevant. In another thread on animal abuse, the conversation digressed to an argument over PeTA. They do things like try to stop fur factories in China from skinning cats and dogs alive. A very cruel, sick and twisted act that only someone with no heart could condone. Listen to the viewers please, Travel Channel. We will pass Legislation to prevent animal cruelty as entertainment. It is just a matter of time. Until then why dont you all take a stand as a network and ban it.

Sun-- You should travel and realize that not everyone lives and eats the way Westerners do. Accept cultural differences and stop trying to force your beliefs on others. I am vegetarian and there is nothing wrong with this show. You should climb down off your high horse. You're zealous running of your mouth is just as bad as people who force their crappy religion on others.

If you can't handle understanding other cultures and the way others are "forced" to live go to FOOD NETWORK. Although, I think they do cook something called MEAT.

Blah Blah Blah. One things for sure, it's nice we have a choice not to eat meat. Fifty years ago, animalabuse wouldn't have. Send him/her to Africa & see if he/she can survive without it. Good luck.

PeTa is a joke. We Americans have it so well partly through the use of animals as beasts of burden & food. You wouldn't be here if this didn't happen. Get a life, find another cause.

Face it! As a society we are so desensitized by having to kill our own food. Where do you think and do you know the process of crating the meat for any sandwich or hamburger or hot-dog? There is a lot of killing going on, more in the USA than anywhere in the world. Killing a pig or chicken in Africa is nothing compared to the USA slaughter houses. However; killing just for fun on either Continent is not moral or justified and I think that Mr. Zimmern does a good job of editing that "pure killing" out. Andrew is just a guy in which he is exposing us to the rest of the world's way and justification for killing and eating their food. Good job Andrew!

I agree on this statement.. I turn off Andrews Show when it gets to the point of cruelty..In fact, it is so disgusting that even having lunch at home when its on, is a turn off.. Stop the madness.. We know how animals die..don't need to see it on a travel channel.. I am looking for travel , NOT sick disqusting eatting of 3rd world countries food sources..You can present a show, without being over the top, and acting like cruelty to animals is actually NOT..

I agree with Sun.. I have traveled extensively, and I find Andrews show disqusting when he acts like killing of an animal (in 3rd world ways) is cool to show on tv..and then acts like its good.. He mustn't have taste buds? I actually turn his show off.. Wait for some Real travel and pleasant things to see being prepared in civilized ways. Sorry, His show needs to be cleaned up...

I dont understand why people want to waste their time trying to convince others that eating meat is wrong.. and PETA!!! does not care that people eat meat. they just dont condone the torture of animals. there is a difference between killing an animal for food and torturing animals then killing them for food. all you (animal right activists) need a reality ., this isnt happing in the US. your acting like its happing in your own damn backyard. get a grip! no one is forcing you to watch his show. his show is to show others how people from different parts of the world eat and live. you dont see people from india forcing us to not kill cows for their meat.
this is a huge ethical debate and one i believe no one can win. What is acceptable in some country's may not be in others..
Further more.. who are we to judge others on how they live? what gives us that right? we Americans think that we are so much better then the rest of the world. and we show that by saying how disgusting others ways of life are. Why dont you worry about the REAL animal abuse thats happing in the united states.. what i get from all of this is that its okay for KFC factorys to torture their chickens by slamming them against walls and stomping on them just as long as its not on tv? but when a show comes on to show others how people live is animal abuse? you know we americans eat more meat then any other place in the world.
Get over yourself.
