Andrew - you are SO funny when you eat something that is so horrible you have to spit it out in a napkin and then tell the cook it was delicious!

The way you describe it is funny and gross. Rotten nuts and rotton fish.

YES!!! We eat almost everything.

I agree with you tungching. We Taiwanese people LOVE to eat and Taiwanese street food is so good as is Asian street food in general. He could do a whole season on just that.

This episode made me really want some stinky tofu and an oyster omelette. Just reminiscing about the Shilin night market made me drool!

I was in Taiwan in August (I was inspired to visit it after seeing this episode) and tried the stinky tofu that Andrew ate in this episode. It was absolutely vile. But, I'm glad I tried it.

I spent a week in Taiwan a couple of years ago. I still regret not trying the stinky tofu! The funny thing about my trip was that I ate all sorts of street vendor foods and the only thing that gave me an upset stomach was a Big Mac at a local McDonalds!
