I REALLY DON'T KNOW WHAT THE PRODUCERS WERE THINKING WHEN THEY CAME UP WITH THIS SHOW. IT IS THE MOST DISGUSTING SHOW THAT TAKES UP AIR TIME I'VE EVER SEEN. GIVE US A BREAK ESPECIALLY FROM THE TEASERS TALKING ABOUT THE SHOW. PLEASE!!

Don't watch it. I personally love it and have been looking forward to it since the last season ended. I have passed time with Bourdain and have developed an appreciation for him and his show but he doesn't come near as close to to describing the food he eats or the places he visits as Zimmerman. I like the dark, shadowy, dry, artsy stuff too. However, I like my travel shows bright, sharp, and cheery.

I personally love this show. It's only weird and/or strange to most of our Western tastes, but Zimmern takes us on that culinary adventure that most of us will never try.
Foods he tries are very "unique", but people from different cultures eat different things and I don't think it's polite to totally hate on what they survive on for nourishment.

I agree with missyn. I am from another country where some might think our dishes "disgusting" whereas they were staples of our community due to lack of anything else to eat. I think that Zimmern provides a refreshing look at different cuisines. I also enjoy his lack of ego and humility when he is with others or even just talking about the areas he is visiting. I think that there are some chefs out there (one in particular) who think that all they need to make a great show is their egos and a lot of alcohol. Andrew shows that that assumption is wrong. Can't wait for the next episode.

Thanks, rlynn.
I also like the way, Andrew thoroughly describes the taste and texture of the delicacy he's trying. Because I've never tried most of the dishes, I can let my imagination run wild, but when he says a certain food taste like "the best shrimp you've ever had" but "with a gelatin texture", it makes me think twice and possibly trying it if I'm ever in that country.
I also take his word for it with something totally disagrees with him.

If you think about it television really is boring. You've got all these people cooking food. What the hell. Have you ever stood in the kitchen and watched your momma cook food? Hell no you haven't. But you'll watch someone on tv with commercials every five minutes. Have you ever watched someone eat food? No you haven't but you'll watch someone on tv eat food and commerials every 5 minutes. www.rense.com learn what's really hapening in the world.

Andrew is one ugly mofo. The Asians truly are a weird bunch. Anyone who eats rottten crap. Stuff that stinks so bad I don't know how they even put it in their mouth. Andrew and Bourdain have just about run out of places to go and rotten stuff to eat.

I believe the word is BIZARRE..... If something has Bizarre and Food in the same title, what do you expect? If you watched it, it's purely your fault.

If you truly do not like the show, then use one of the handy gadgets they have invented. One is called a channel selector and the other is an on/off switch. No one is holding a gun to your head to make you watch the show. Turn on something else and vacate the forums. If it was mandatory to watch the show, I could see your griping, but no one forces you to watch. Turn the channel and shut the hell up and let us who enjoy it be at peace.
