It’s disgusting how Americans treat dogs better than they treat blacks and other minorities

So pleas AZ do a show in Korea and eat dog stew but before make sure to play with fluffy before he is butchered if you do that the show will have HUGE RATINGS and will cause an uproar.

I really dislike dogs and it’s just racist for Michale Vick to go to jail because of a stupid animal like a dog.

Americans give all these minorities food stamps, medicaid, welfare checks. Many of these people drag down the rest of society. All they do is leech on the hardworking. They sit home and don't want to work. They'd rather collect a government check. There's lots of opportunities if they want.

Give me a break. Vick deserved to go to jail for murdering dogs. He tortured them by hanging and electrocution. This is f---ing cruel. He forced them to fight to the death. This guy is a scumbag thug. Dogs are such loving creatures. I don't give a shit whether it was Peyton Manning. If he did the same thing, he deserved the same fate as Vick. Race is not a factor. He committed a crime, and showed no regard.

Do you have proof that minorities are the ones that receive foodstamps, medicaid, and welfare the most? I'm a minority myself, and as long as I've lived.. I've never seen a foodstamp, a check from the government or medicaid before. And none of the minorities in my community have seen them either. You know, if you want to be a compassionate person and defend the lives of dogs, I find it very funny that you would turn around and degrade the lives of fellow human beings.

It amazes me how there are so many ignorant bigots on this board.

I have experience working in a hospital clinic that caters to the indigent. The majority of our patients are minorities, many of whom have been impregnated at an early age by different sperm donors, and rely on public support (i.e. hardworking people's tax dollars). They invariably are on medicaid, and all their children w/ different last names. Do you know how much it cost for prenatal care? I understand people make mistakes. However, these people are already on public aid, yet still continue to get pregnant. They can't support themselves, but yet keep reproducing. Why don't you go to any university teaching clinic in this country and see who are the ones using up the health resources. I've seen this same pattern of behavior in various cities that I've worked.

I never said that minorities receive aid the most. I'm tired of certain minorities screaming racism all the time, like the first poster made about Michael Vick. These apologists support criminals to further their racist agenda.

What kind of minority are you? Perhaps you should take your head out of the sand and face reality.

Perhaps, YOU should take your head out of the dirt. If you want to degrade a certain class of people, why don't you be braver and state a specific minority, because when you say "minority," you're saying it in general. And if you haven't noticed, there are many different types of ethnicities that are classified as minorities. So why don't you get off your high horse and be grateful that you're not those patients that you are supposedly helping. And your report on your clinic's demography is not a reliable source of proof that says minorities are the sole aid receivers. Is there a national statistic that proves your claim?

And for your information, I am American. And my ethnicity is Southeast Asian.

Unless I'm completely wrong they do eat dogs and cats in some of those Asian countries. Why don't we see any of this? I don't think this would go over so well. I've heard the Asians come here and eat our dogs and cats and it must be a tradition they brought here.

Why is it disgusting that American treat their dogs well? Why is love and compassion for another animal disgusting? Actually, unfortunately, there is still a lot of inhumane treatment of dogs in America that should be stopped, including dog fighting and puppy mills.
And I think its demeaning that the first poster said Americans treat dogs better than black people. Kinda equates black people to pets.
If people want to treat their companion animals well, I don't see why that's a reason for you to get angry. Yes, there are socioeconomic problems in America, but are you saying that they're worse here than what's in Asia and how some people are treated in Asia?
