If you are planning to make a trip to Thailand, you should know that in the future Thailand and Cambodia will have a 'two countries one visa' agreement. This means you will be able to go to Cambodia with your Thai visa.

I just got back from Bangkok and had a wonderful experience with my tailor. I just graduated and was in need of more suits at a reasonable price for a suit-everyday job that I just started. I found out about Savile Row Fashion Clothiers on this site, and decided to check them out. I emailed Narry and Aron (father and son who run the shop) beforehand, and they were very helpful, with directions to the shop and pricing.

There are a million tailors in Bangkok, and quite a few look absolutely horrible, so be very careful. I would recommend Savile Row Fashion without any hesitation. I got two suits, 4 shirts, and a pair of shorts made there, and love all of them. In fact, I am sitting in the trousers from one of the suits now. The suits were $250 apiece, and the shirts were $30, both incredible prices.

If you go, your first visit will be a fitting and fabric selection; Aron will measure you and give you a box of pushpins to select fabrics you like. Then you pull all the fabrics out and choose what you want. Aron will be happy to guide you as far as style choices, and his instincts are traditional and generally spot-on, but if you have specific requests they are happy to accommodate you. For example, I got surgeon cuffs, cuffed pants, peak lapels, and half linings on my suits, none of which are standard, and they didn't charge me extra. I also asked for side pleats, removable collar stays, and 1/4" stitching on my shirts, which they were happy to do.

I've worn the suits and shirts several times now. They fit quite well, and I still can't believe I paid under $900 for essentially an entire week's worth of dress clothing. If you want more info or details, PM me and I'll be happy to share, but I would definitely suggest checking out Savile Row Fashion.
