Chicago is packed full of cultural attractions. A few sights not to be missed include the Lincoln Park Zoo, The Field Museum, John G. Shedd Aquarium, Sears Tower, Six Flags, and much more.

Plan your field trip to the windy city here.

In addition to the above message, I just wanted to make an observation on the comment by Anthony Bordaine on Chicago being the "Second City". Anthony said that Chicago got that nickname by some obnoxtious New Yorker. This is far from the actual way Chicago got dubbed the Second City. In the 1800's the first Chicago burned down. Chicago was rebuilt, and now we have the Second City. It has nothing at all to do with New York.

I love coming to Chicago, and I agree that it has nothing to do with NY. I found this Hotel Chicago site on the internet and it worked out really well for me.

Don't forget the Museum of Science & Industry, the Art Institute, the Adler Planetarium. Also the Frank Lloyd Wright houses in Oak Park! Although Navy Pier is a tourist trap, check out the skyline views from the pier.

Chicago is one of my very favorite cities to visit. There is so much to do and see! For the new visitor, I recommend taking the Trolley Tours Chicago---a fab way to see the city---and the Chicago Hyatt Regency as a great place to stay for location and price.
