We've got a real treat for you. Something new, something old, well not really but you get the drift.
In "Lawrence of America", English-born journalist and trutherist Lawrence Beldon-Smythe tours the U.S. to uncover its subcultures and interesting fair, such as fried food, on a stick (Oklahoma State Fair episode).

Hi Have just watched some of the outtakes - he's great. Especially liked the UGa one - as an alumnus it was good to hear the kick off! When are you going to show it in Oz?
Lawrence rocks - I was only going to watch one or two of the outtakes and have watched them all back to back - when is the full show coming to Australia - will it be on our travel channel soon??? the mix of humour appeals to those of us who know something about the US, but still like laughing at them (and the Brits at the same time) CLEVER!
LOVED the Las Vegas episode! The location bits are very funny, but his real talent seems to be the deadpan "Man on the street" interviews. Lawrence flinching his way through a Civil War reenactment was pretty funny too.
Thank you, thank you, thank you TC for this show. It's one of the best entertainment/travel shows we've seen in ages. We love it... So many of the new shows lately have been crap - not even worth watching a whole episode. This show has us eagerly looking forward to future episodes - and hopping on line just to give our kudos.
By the way... how about new Globetrekker shows sometime?
