Breakers is not a bad resort. I live in Myrtle Beach and you definitely will want to rent a car. It is tough to walk to everything as we are spread out up and down the coast. I recommend contacting USave Auto Rental. They are the most budget sensitive.

Water should be mid to upper 70's, maybe higher. You should be alright for a dip.

Breaker Resort is the great resort in the Myrtle Beach.

It has perfect oceanfront location, convenient central location, its 70-year tradition of having only the finest staff and service, the ultra-modern and varied accommodations and super-fun activities right on the grounds, it's no wonder The Breakers Resort is Myrtle Beach's first choice for a family vacation, a golf vacation or special get-away times, and one of the finest places on the East Coast for small meetings and is only 3 blocks from the New Myrtle Beach Convention Center.

I would strongly recommend you to go there.

I have heard Myrtle Beach called the RED NECK Las Vegas, and after being there, it is correct.
