I think it was in virginia or west virginia.
I saw this place on the travel channel like a year ago and i haven't seen it on the channel since then.
It's this big huge house that sits on a mountain top somewhere in the appalachian mountains.
Some crazy guy built it and it has all kinds of crazy stuff in it like animatronic dolls and a huge walkway that extends out over the mountain with no support.
That's all i can remember. I don't know if anyone here will no what i'm talking about but i've googled it to death and i haven't found the name of it.
I don't think i'm searching with the right keywords.
If you can think of the name of this place then please help me out because it's driving me crazy.

I believe what you are talking about is the House on the rock in wisconsin, as a matter of fact, I am almost 100% sure of it. I have been there several times, and they I wouldn't call it so much a place built by a crazy guy, just a guy who collected EVERYTHING and had nothing better to do with his money. I think his name was Alex Jordan. I believe he left everything to the state when he passed. Used to know a lot about it, been a long time, its pricey to go there, but fun to see. huge animated robot orchestras, mammoth whales and fish, its like one magnificent playland. the walkway you are talking about with no support is SCARY AS ALL GET OUT. you feel it bouncing as you walk, and at the end is a glass bottom to look down. So many things here, worth a whole days devotion.
