Universal Studios and Six Flags Magic Mountain are not the best thrill parks in the world! The best thrill park would have to be Cedar Point, in Sandusky Ohio. It has 16 roller coasters with its new addition, the Top Thrill Dragster. Six Flags Magic Mountain may also have 16 coasters, but their most thrilling rides don't even compare to the top rides at Cedar Point. Goliath is the tallest and one of the most thrilling rides at Magic Mountain. It stands only 225 feet tall and goes 85 mph. The award winning Millennium Force at Cedar Point, however, is 310 feet tall and goes over 95 mph down an 85 degree hill along over 6,500 feet of track. This giga-coaster is in a complete different league than Goliath. When Cedar Point builds a new thrill ride, they set the standard in the roller coaster industry. Cedar Point's Top Thrill Dragster is a revolutionary new roller coaster that stands 420 feet tall and reaches over 120 mph two times in the ride. This strata-coaster is the best thrill machine on the planet, no questions asked! Magic Mountain's new ride, Scream, is relatively un-unique, because there are several of that same type of coaster all across the country. Even the technological thrillers at Universal Studios, don't even compare to the pure rush you get a Cedar Point. If you go to the web sites of various roller coaster enthusiasts clubs, you will find that Cedar Point rides dominate most roller coaster enthusiast lists of favorite rides. And those guys know their thrill rides! Being the second oldest amusement park in the world, next to Coney Island, Cedar Point has broken more records in the amusement industry than any other park. Cedar Point Had won over 6 awards for the best amusement park in the world this past year, from such companies as: Amusement Today newspaper, coasterbuzz.com, The Roller Coaster Club of Great Britain, The Great Ohio Coaster Club, and Thrillride.com. Cedar Point had also won countless awards for Best Steel Coaster, best Wooden Coaster, Best Ride, Friendliest Park Staff, Best Games, Biggest Park Capacity, Best Non-Coaster Ride, Best Live Shows, and a running record for having the tallest roller coaster. And no, I don't work for Cedar Point. All facts I state are current to the summer of 2003
