i just watched the show on the top ten
of the worlds bridges and none compaired
to the mighty mackinac! whats "u-p" with that?

How can anyone think the best bridge in the world isn't "the bridge in the clouds" the Millau Bridge in France. It is the longest, and highest cable-stayed bridge in the world, with the road deck in some places 885 feet above the Tarn Valley floor. If you don't believe it go to this site http://www.abelard.org/france/viaduct-de-millau.php There are 180 pictures of how it was built. A true engineering masterpiece.

For real! The Mackinac Bridge is unique and wonderful. And there is even a huge walk across it every Labor Day, led by Michigan's governor. I was disappointed to see that it didn't make the Travel Channel's Top 10 Bridges.
