I hope they do show part of the battlefied..nothing flashy. maybe ask for knocks or proff and they help them cross over to their families. I think there is alot there. I hope they got to cashtown and the cityhall..I think there is something with the basement too. ghost hunting can be good if they help cross over the spirit that needs and wants help. all the men and women that died there. need to cross over if they havent. I think thats all we can hope for the spirit trapped. To have someone show them the light. I think many think they are alive and still at war. like a time wrap. its sad. I hope for many this is proof our for fathers are with us and someone can help them.

I live about 6 miles away. My husband came through town last night and the streets were blocked. He said it looked like they were filming something, all the lights, etc, were outside the Farnsworth House. So I am guessing that's where they are setting up!

Yes, someone wrote that they are definitely staying at the Farnsworth house, and it is closed to other visitors while they are there. They must be basing their investigation from there - how exciting - I can't wait to see the show tomorrow night!

Hello all,
I live in Gettysburg and there were lights in front of the Farnsworth last night. They were taping some shots of the Farnsworth House for the show. I worked at the Farnsworth last summer and I can tell you for sure if any place is haunted, the Farnsworth is.

I know they were filming for a few hours near the PA monument- why I don't know but they're suppose to be filming also in a farm behind Little Round Top, so my guess is the Weikert farm.

Doing an investigation for paranormal activity is not in conflict with lands being "hallowed" or not. Land is land any where on this planet. Technically it's all the same ground the only difference is what remains from the events that took place there. I've noticed in posting topic after posting topic that people are all worried about the supposed "hallowed" ground that the Gettysburg battlefields are claimed to be. To be clear "hallowed" is defined as something that is holy or sanctified as consecrated (ie a cemetery). Though thousands of lives were lost on the battlefields the battlefields themselves are not sanctioned as "cemetery" therefore not hallowed by definition.
Plus out of curiosity, how many people worried about "hallowed" ground treatment during investigations have watched/followed Most Haunted? Because the people involved have given nothing but the utmost respect to the places and lands they have visited. Just an FYI.

gettysburg rocks, went last year for five days. Got an evp at Dobbins House Attic and a ghost shot at the little round top battlefield. Had a great lunch at Cash Town Inn, where Ghost Hunters went last year.

I wqatched the show and just pretty much what I expected. I loved the part where Yvette was led away by her hubby blind folded. You are right though it was good they didn't go in the battle fields. The genuine "captures" are way to subtle and may I say real for a show like Most Haunted. It was worth afew laughs and did feel like a big ole commercial to some of the Inn establishments.
I loved the visitor center but abit too crowded for me. Th Cyclorama and film for the best... highly recommended visit.
