Derek was proven to be a fake when some of the investigators created a couple of names and had people talk about them within earshot. Derek then claimed to make contact with these fake people and even acted as if he was possessed by one of them. The names were anagrams for Derek Faker, and Derek Lies, or something like that. When the crew realized he was making it up, they got rid of him. It is possible that he was psychic at one point but I have read that sometimes people lose the ability later on in life. I really miss David, I wish he would come back at some time.
Derek was always "SHOWY" and if you have seen him on his new show Paranormal Egypt every week he falls or becomes possessed. I like David but have not seen him in a while.. I also like the young psychic with the dark hair and dark facial hair and dark eyes. I have been VERY impressed tonite with Patrick the psychic that is empathic who takes in the emotions ot the spirits, I myself am Empathic but have never taken in the emotions of a spirit thank GOD!!!! Not quite ready for that yet...but when you feel their emotions, you actually take in that person's feelings and pain, it is very devastating at times as Im sure you could all see tonite for Patrick...
