This is the most beautiful tropical islands of the world, Phi Phi Islands have become one of the most popular tourist attractions in Thailand. Known for decades for its rich natural environment and beautiful scenery, this is a must. The island's location is close by to Phuket/Phang Nga island/areas which can be accessible by plane, or diving.
What is very striking to me are the coastal hills which have a lot of limestone and is serenely beautiful because of the steep cliffs and the caves and crevices. The phi phi group of islands have many nice unique islands that really speak for themselves. I checked out the hi Phi Don and Phi Phi Le islands which the first is very well known for their coral reefs and beautiful beaches. However, the Phi Phi Le is an uninhabited island with no beaches what soever. However, it does have a magnificent giant cave (known as the Viking Cave filled with numerous bird's nests so you will enjoy the scenery in there. the extent of the info i got about these groups of island is from http://www.tourismthailand.org/7wonders/ in the beach section (03) I'm just going to give u the intro for this group of islands for now because there is actually so much to cover and for time's sake, this is it. this is it for now but i'll post up more info on the other parts of phi phi islands and where to stay exactly later.... enjoy! |
