Hi guys,
I just want to share with you my trip to Thailand last month. I went with my wife to Thailand and we landed in Bangkok and we scheduled to go to a nice beach right afterward. So we traveled to this beautiful island called Samui. The trip to go there was very nice actually, u can just fly from Bangkok to Samui, or get a van for rent from the airport or take the tour bus from a terminal within the city (gotta check that out urself, we just took the plane b'cus we were pretty lazy). Oh man, i never thought the airport would be this nice, i thought Thailand was still developing but it seems they're very developed. When we arrived at the Samui airport (the size was quite small, but i guess that's b'cus its an island), the hotel has already sent us a ride to go straight to the hotel. We It was evening by now so when we reached our hotel (named - Rummana Boutique Resort) we decided to leave our things there and go straight to check out the nightlife. Oh, i reallly suggest this boutique resort, we were welcomed with awesome coconut juice (island's most famous drink) and the rooms (we stayed in villas) were veryyyy cozy. Our friend actually suggested us to this island and told us to check on thsi website - ( http://www.tourismthailand.org/7wonders/ )so you can check it out if u want to go there (or other islands or beaches, there's actuallly a LOT to choose from) The nightlife in samui is very lively actually, we checked out a lot of spots and my wife got a lot of necklaces, clothes (those ones that u wear in hot weather..cant remember the name actually, it's kinda like lenin, oh and prices are very cheap, just be sure to bargain hehehe), then we went to a nice restaurant and bar on the beach (sry, couldnt remember the name, but they're just so many n' all of em' seemed very nice) and had dinner until sunset....amazing, that's all i can say (oh and of course, lol, romantic). Oh, and i cant leave out that there r seagulls and other rare birds on this island too! so u bird lovers should enjoy it. For the next 2 nights, we just kept ourselves in the resort since there was soooo much to do already, we relaxed on the beach, and played a lot of water sports (my wife actually tagged along on the jet-ski and the banana-boat, it was hilarious, she was screaming at the top of her lungs!!), but she didnt want to go diving, so we snorkeled. All this was easily arranged by the resort, and it seems most resorts there just handles these things for u very easily, so try it out! it's great fun. Ok, this is getting too long, so i'll kidna cut it short. Overall, the hospitality was awesome, prices were pretty reasonable, there was a lot to do, and we had a great time (if you like the sun, u'll especially like it here, or else u'll just be bored) Cheers! |
