We wanted to go to Puerta Vallarta, but were afraid of getting sick on food or water/ raw vegtables etc. Have a 5 year old. Also afraid of it not being a safe place

I think have to go to Puerta Vallarta one time. And i want to say that the crime rate in Mexico is lower than the u.s.I love visited Puerta vallarta many times and found it very safe. I must say that when i went there it was beautiful!!
