Yes, I too was glad they did pronounce Bess' EMF toss as non-paranormal and in such a professional manner. Was actually expecting to have seen Zak be a little more "emotional", shall we say, over that charlatan's little stunt - but he indeed took the high road of politeness. :-)

Although Zak can get carried away and loud at times. You have to realize they are exposed to some crazy electromagnetic as well as emotional fluctuations. I feel that these can make you seem (hyped up). It is exciting to come into contact with something that is not supposed to be, especially when you are trying to prove it to the world. This is my favorite show, because they get results, and have the (for real) ambition and passion to prove the paranormal exists.

Anyone who sees spirits or ghosts and gets spoken to by them, or hears them moving stuff around, believe me, the adrenaline gets pumping no matter how many times it's happened! And I think sometimes they are genuinely scared. They can't always see where they are going in the dark. There could be a slight sense of panic. They are acting naturally among themselves, not playing to an audience all the time, which for me feels more authentic.
Yeah, on the live show, some things were a little overdone. I got tired of hearing the "It Worked" EVP played about a hundred times, for example. But it's generally good, they do a great job of editing their regular shows to show us the highlights of a probably mostly-boring night-long experience. Think about it - on an hour-long program (about 45 minutes without commercials), we are seeing the cool stuff from an eight to twelve hour investigation where they might have stumbled around for all the rest of that time hearing or seeing absolutely nothing. So when something happens, Zak naturally becomes a firecracker. (I think a majority of people would scream and cry and cower in a corner if that stuff happened to them). They may tone it down at some point when it gets to be more routine than exciting, but for now it's just they way they are, and I have a blast watching them. |

Wow! I had to youtube it tonight. I caught the Italy episode but I thought that was the season opener. I live in California and miss alot of information. Also, for us on the west coast it wasnt live at all. It was 3 hours behind
Anyways Robert Bess is a douche nozzle, which I said out loud the moment I first heard him speak. I think I remember him being on another show. It was very rude of him to act that way and I hope noone else hires him. I tried to look the guy up but he doesent seem to have a website. Not that Im suprised cause hillbillies dont know how to use computers anyway, I just thought if hes trying to get famous and all, he would have one. There isnt a Wiki on him either... maybe someone should write one and mention the throw... lulz That assylum was heck of scary. Italy freaked me out more though, Im glad they didnt do live over there. |
