They NEED to address it in the next show. They could tastefully deal with it by stating "after carefully reviewing the evidence Mr. Robert Bess agreed to reimburse us for the EMF broken meter."
I think it will be very interesting once the Ghost Adventures team examine the footage and listen to Nicks voice on the tape. There is alot of stuff going on as this is being filmed and Nick is telling Robert Bess that there is a mist and light that is by Robert and Nick tells him to back up a few steps more, just then a door swings open and closed and the emf detector flies out of Robert Bess's hand.
Everyone is saying he threw it, but keep in mind Nick saw a mist by Robert and some sort of light. This mist could very well be the spirit or entity that moved the door and flung the detector out of his hand.
yea, but still, Robert cud've thrown it. if he did, they should definetly make him come back on camera and tell the truth. But, Nick cud've been covering for Robert on the show. I think the crew talked 2 Robert after the show.
not sure why nick would cover for rober on the show. either he sees a mist or he doesnt. i have no reason so far to doubt the teams testimony and i pray i never do. but the rob segment is just so dang suspiscious. the strange arm movement as the meter left his hand...the door slammin by him off camera , the punch that supposedly shoved rob. everything happened to rob when no one was looking. it is strange. maybe he just wanted to hype up the rep of his invention so he could sell it? or maybe he was sabotaging the shows reputation? he had to know that faking anything would be hard to sucxceed at wiothout bein caught in the lie. *shakes her head*
Think about it-- he got his fifteen minutes of fame, and got to be the center of attention. He didn't care what happened to the reputation of the show, he just wanted everyone to think he was some amazing person who could interact with these spirits when no one else could. He wanted to be famous for a little bit, and well, he succeeded all right. He's famous for being a fake in my book. At the very least, he should be made to pay for that EMF detector. It's not like those things are cheap. And seriously, very disrespectful to break something that didn't belong to him.
I don't think Robert will ever admit that he faked it. Then he would lose credibility. He is going to stick by his word. GA should, to save face, dismiss the "evidence" as controversal and say something like "we don't know if it actually happened, only Robert does. however, if it was faked, we had no part of it and do not condone such actions"
he did not throw it , his wrist flicks forward from the sheer speed it takes off out of his hand , he is a old guy and noway he could just flick that emf 50ft with his hand only without moving his arm

Perhaps Cowboy Bob was a 'poison pill' sent by the turds over at the Ghost Hunter show to ruin the Ghost Adventures' show?!
HAHAHAHA! Thats so funny and true. I'm scared for the GAC team to be poisoned by bad TAPS vibes! Don't submit to the corporations. Make sure contracts give you creative control J and Grant got SCREWED.
I get the parabout tesla concept, but I think Ghost Lab nailed it on the head with the solo tesla coil. Giving ghosts enough energy to manifest its so interesting and something i've always wanted to see GAC address but unfortunately cowboy bob gave it a bad name. ZAK! try the concept again without the disco parabot machine and without the assistance of any one you can't fully trust.
I think he threw it but I don't think the guys were in on it. I'm glad they addressed the issue live. I hope the guys don't allow TC to make the show bad like SCIFI did to GH. Stay real guys. You have a lot of support from fans in Los Angeles.
I don't think losing credibility is an issue for our friend Robert. He didn't have any to begin with. He should be made to appear on the next episode and apologize for his attempt(s) at fakery. His electric ghost booth was the stupidest thing I ever saw, and he definitely threw the EMF detector. I don't think he knew he could be seen. I'm betting the scratches and the crack in the door of the "booth" were also put there by Robert who probably locked himself in it accidentally the day before.
It'll be a long time till the guys invite another nut along on an investigation.
Things also have a tendency to slide on smooth surfaces though, he wouldn't have had to pull his arm all the way back to get enough momentum to have it lande 50 feet. Even if he just gave it a little flick to throw it a few feet the smoothness of the detector and the floor would cause it to slide further. But realistically we have movie projector and we paused and slowed it down, you can clearly see bob's bicep flex as he gets ready to throw it in that milli second.
Sorry Bob, didn't know aaron had the camera right on you did you?
Originally posted by anddos: no if he had thrown it you would see bobs arm move , all that moves is his wrist from the sheer force it lifts out of his hand..
Sorry, anddos, but that is not the case. I was TIVOing the show, saw him cock his arm and throw it, immediately backed up the show and rewatched it frame by frame a few times to make sure I saw what I thought I saw, and there is absolutely NO question that he cocked his arm and threw it. None. Robert Bess lost so much credibility that, to be honest, I can't help but wonder if you and he are the same person. You are certainly his most ardent defender on the boards. I'm not saying you ARE him. I'm just saying that my opinion of him allows for the possibility that he might create an account here and try to undo the damage he did to his reputation that night.
