I will try to repost this since the first one had a cryptic message saying I had hit a nerve and was under review before it would post.
One thing I have noticed is the abundance of evidence that is found on some of these ghost programs which Ghost Adventures is one. It is very convienant for such evidence as; clothes being tugged that noone can see, shadow people (something the investigators always see but the audience never does), temperature drop (which is never verified with one of our high tech gadgets that we all carry), attacks with door slamming and tons of EVPs that never come off very well on television. Now I know there could be an exception, and I was granting that to Zak...a great front man.....and the group but now I am having second thoughts. You have to be extremely lucky to get the kind of Hollywood evidence that is being collected week in and week out on these programs because in the real it doesn't happen. You may have to go back many times before you get more than a couple of EVPs. We have taken hundreds and hundreds of pictures and never capture anything, and then finally we get the one. Ghost hunting in the norm is rather boring. We work long hours, go over hundreds of hours of video and audio, and sometimes come up with little or nothing. Don't be fooled. |

Its alot like my real life experience living in a haunted house. Somedays there would be alot of unexplainable things happening, especially when it would rain. Then there were days that nothing would happen at all. But ghosts are real people that lived in this dimension of time as we do now. They can choose to do something or not. They can choose who they like or dislike. They can be provoked and show anger, especially the negative spirits. I think Zach and Arron and Nick do a great job of trying to bring those entities forward. Asking the spirits to show themselves or move something or make noises for paranormal proof.
There will always be the skeptic, heck, I was one untill I saw, heard and felt spirits in my own home. Almost every night was a ghost adventure. |

I wonder if they get evidence because they have the equipment to do so. Most people do not have evp or emf or cameras in their homes to attract ghosts even if they are in their homes. I also believe that a lot of the ghosts are residual ghost and only show up at certain times. It is an interesting observation though.

I think what bothers me the most and don't get me wrong I love GA, but when they do spot something the cameras, or none of their equipment hardly ever catch it. Most of what I watch is the 3 men filming each other. Which I don't mind watching hunky Zak move about...but it's just the lack of cameras at the point of supposed sighting that bothers me.

I believe Zak and his team get their evidence do to their equipment & because Zak provokes. I also believe that Zak may be a sensitive.

jerry...i believe you when u say you dont often get good evps and other evidence. but do you know how to trigger and provoke like the team does? do you go to places with extreme and plentiful violent pasts where thousands have died? there more violent the past , the more numerous the deaths , the more likely a spirit is there who is going to manifest.

I have been reading about the occult for about 50 years but only in the last 10 years been out and about investigating. Everyone provokes. I have the same or better equipment then they do, and I actually study how things happen. But I was fortunate to be able to use a haunted house as a laboratory and I learned many things. I always get EVPs, that is my specialty. But in the real world of investigations it just doesn't happen like CSI,NCIS,or some of these ghost hunter shows. I think that Zak and boys are sincere, but I do wonder what they will do when they meet up with something that won't leave them. It happens. This can be very dangerous. Spirits can wait, and wait,and wait. And something happens. You go "Oh my GOD what was that" and the fear starts racing through your veins. And the evil ones are attracted to it and they feed off of it, and they become stronger. I like Zak,Aaron, and Nick and I wish them no harm. |
