Don't get me wrong, I'm a HUGE fan and I absolutely love these guys. I respect them, their opinions, and have nothing against them. However, it looked very obvious that the recorder was thrown by Cowboy Rob. I know people question many things heard and seen on these shows- things that have a strong possibility of being 100% paranormal and real- but this was too much (the throw). Seeing as it wasn't the guys, they don't lose any of my respect at all, but I don't appreciate that man doing that. That seriously can hurt their image. If anything, the ghosts were snickering at Rob's ridiculous pimp hat.
I watched the whole show and thought it was great. But that cowboy Rob and the way he threw his little recorder that was a bit much.Glad Zak confronated him at the end of the show.I'm sure once Zak takes a look at it he will see what a fraud cowboy rob is.Love the guys
Cowboy Rob better get his pony ready to gallop into the horizon before the guys view the footage. I smell controversy and arguments. I know the guys will handle it the best way possible though. I still can't get over the fact that Rob did that. That little stunt might make Ghost Adventures lose a lot of viewers which makes me sad and very angry. [Insert sigh of frustration] And to think- I got so PUMPED when that happened! I was like "OH MY GOSH- NO WAY!" but I was let down when I viewed the video in slow-mo. But like I said, I have nothing against the guys and the rest of the show was great. Awesome job. Rob needs to giddy-up somewhere else and take his BOX of tricks with him |:<
Zak has to save face for his team, because having this cowboy on in the first place is also going to cause controversy, as the guy has been called a charlatan elsewhere. He has nothing legit under his belt, and people are going to be asking "Why was he on in the first place?" Then, following the evidentiary process, all evidence from that segment has to be thrown out, because once one thing is tainted, it is all tainted. From the object flying, hitting the cowboy in the neck, to his being hit in the chest and the door slamming and the sulfur smell is now suspoect, because of the cowboy's actions. That is a huge hit for the guys, and something that Zak cannot just look past.
When the cowboy dude first got slammed into the door I thought Hmm. Then when the meter or recorder went flying from his hand I thought everything that is happening is centered around this guy. When Zak says hey do something to me, cowboy says basically that they won't do nothing to you because "You intimidate them Zak." When cowboy is let out the pew (building) he is rubbing his shoulder and arm all dramatic as if it just happened to him all over again. When cowboy couldn't look the host in the eye when explaining what had happend to him I knew something wasn't right. Then came the actual footage of the throw, followed by the confrontation with Zak. Well cowboy...Youz Busted. As far as how I feel about Zak and his crew, well I haven't missed a single adventure yet,and cowboy is the reason that these guys should continue to work alone. After all in the business their in credibiliy is everything.Furthermore when it comes to Ghost Busting these guys are aggresive Badasses and I love watching every minute of it.
Far too many holes in this attempt. First of all, there was too many people walking about and talking. If you intend to take this serious, first of all,you must be serious. Second, the cowboy and his antics may have single-hand turned this show into something kids would appreciate on the Disney channel. He took what might have been an eye-opening event and made it garbage. Lastly, if the Travel Channel intends to make this show viable, they need to take a page from Ghost Hunters. Take the business of ghost hunting serious.
You can tell he threw it by the way his arm jerked outwards...if something knocked it out of my hand I would have jerked my arm back...think about it. He is such a phony!
I Have been to Trans-Allegheny a few times myself and while there is plenty of evidence to capture, you dont have to make it up like Robert Bess did (coyboy blue hat)! this is a blow to the paranormal community. Travel, Nick,Aaron and Nick what were you thinking? Also, The Host , seemed a bit out of place (just plain bad)Go West Virgineee? Whew!
This is why I have said in the past.....they should just do their investigations without all of the "guest investigators". This is really the only way to get an serious, unadulterated investigation.
Although, Chris Fleming is very credible, as well as the Constantinos.
Ghost Hunters has now learned this. Remember the WWW Wrestler they had as a guset investigator on their Halloween Special 2 years ago? That contaminated the whole investgation.
Hey all, I am very dissapointed in this unfortunate event. I truely believe that the guys are for real. The stuff they see and do, I believe to be sincere. This Rob guy may have put a huge dent in their credibility. I hope that the guys confront this yo-yo and deal with him accordingly. I also believe that shortly after the "throw" the next event "the slamming door" was also created by this yo-yo. I quickly reviewed the "slamming Door" last night and the only person unaccounted for was this Rob guy. I could be mistaken, It was very late and I was a little sleepy LOL. I am looking forward to hearing the guys discuss this event and hopefully ripping this guy a new a**hole Paul
I watched most of the live show last night and recorded the rest so that I could continue watching. I will say that I respect what they do. I will also say that even though I understand the excitement etc. it gets a little frustrating with all the talking when they do the play back on the recorders etc. There seems to be a lot of commotion rather than more calm. Like I said I understand the excitement though. The cowboy throwing the recorder was a little overboard! Was that really necessary?
ok , before reading this thread i was willin to give cowboy rob the benefit of the doubt and say yah it looks questionable but we cant be certain he wasnt struggling with a spirit like he claims. but since i see he has been dubbed a charlatan elsewhere (which makes me wonder why the travel channel asked him on the show in the first place) and seeing your points of view , im gonna have to say that i agree it looks pretty bad for cowboy rob. i sure hope this doesnt affect the reputation of the team tho as im sure they had nothin to do with robs dishonest actions. rob put the whole investigations credibility in qwuestion and you cant tell me he didnt know how hard it would be to succeed at a stunt like tyhat without gettin caught. im sure he knew he would be caught. and he did it anyways. why is the real question.
