My most exciting experience I ever had took place about a year ago. My mother had a really close friend of hers that she worked with, who had been battling depression and tried several suicide attempts in the past. I know it is sad but she finally took her life about a year ago. I knew this women but didn't know her very well. One night I had a dream that had no relation to any death or anything, I was actually at a party in this dream. Towards the end of the dream, just as clear as day, this friend of my moms showed up in my dream. She gave me a hug and told me she loved me, as she turned around to walk away, she looked back at me suddenly and said: "Tell your mom I said HI". I had battled with telling my mom this, but I knew I had to. When I shared this story with her she started to cry and said to me Norma always told everybody she loved them, even the customers that came into the office. I never knew that and she never told me that. It was the most realistic experience I have ever had and I am waiting for the day she comes to visit me again.

I would have to say the most exciting was when I saw my mother the day we buried her and that night I seen her in my dad room just looking at him and me..she was so beautiful and solid with gold light around her...after that night I have seen her one more time and a few others that came in..I love the gift I have but sometimes it gets strange when the bad ones walk in...my mother always told me to go to a class and learn to make it stronger but I am too freaked out...it is enough when I can feel them and smell them and hear them...seeing them at times is better..

sweetcross I had a friend who took his life. It was very sad. He was young and had alot to look forward too. Anyway, a few months after his passing he came to me in a dream. We were in a bar and he was sitting next to me. He was very happy and wanted to let me know that he was doing good. I knew this dream was a message. For one I don't go to bars, but he did. So the setting he chose to communicate with me was was so him. It helped me a lot to deal with his death. I told several other co-workers about this dream too. (We all worked together). It is not so strange to have people you loved or were close to to come to you during dreams. I believe this ia way they can still let us know they are ok.

Angie what a beautiful experience you had from your mother. I too was visited by my Grandmother. It was seven years after her death and I was having a hard time. She came to me during the night and patted me on my shoulder to let me know all would be well. I knew it was her because she always patted me on the shoulder when I would be down. That is the closest I have ever come to seeing a spirit. And was so happy it was someone I loved very much. She has visited me in dreams often before this etheral visit. If your mom thought you should take classes to learn how to use your abilities it should be something you should think about. But only do it when you are truly ready to learn how to use your gift.

That was a very special gift that your mother gave you so you could se her again, I'm sure you will see her more and more. I agree with rahski, developeing your gifts in seeing spirits takes time and only when you feel spiritually ready will you do this. There is a wonderful website that has the most helpful people on the forums that can help you with questions you might have or even dreams. Just look up "James Van Praugh's website" and read some of the postings there of people like yourself that are gifted. I hope by going there it will help you grow spiritualy and help you understand how to use your gifts a little better.

I also have the gift. Angiea, it will take time & determination to make your abilities stronger. When you accept it much more, your gift will get stronger alone. But I'm warning you - be prepared for whatever comes your way. You sometimes will see things that will disturb you. Or encounter evil spirits.

My most exciting experience? Most aren't really exciting. They kind of scare me sometimes, depending on what happens.

My exciting experience was when my great, great grandmother visited me when I was 9. Everyone in my mother's side is young. My great, great grandmother died about 1-3 months before I was born. So I never met her. One night in my old 1800's home, I was sleeping when I was suddenly awaken by footsteps. They were soft but there. I didn't see anything when I turned to look out into the hall. When I turned to go back to bed, a white figure of an older woman sat on the corner of my bed. Clear as day her features were but she was glowed white. I stared at her for minutes on end, and she smiled the entire time. Her hand moved toward my face as if she wanted to stroke my cheek. I screamed and ran out of the room. My parents woke up, and my mom asked me what happened. I explained and she said it was possibly my great, great grandmother, wanting to meet me since she couldn't when she died. Later that day, she showed me a picture of her and I knew it was her. It was amazing.

You know it is good to know that other ppl out there have similar experiences. It is so odd because I never had any experiences until about 3 years ago and I am 23. I have talked to my dad about some experiences I have had since he is into this kind of think. He told me that it isn't uncommon that I tend to have some sort of spiritual ability to communicate with individuals who have past. He said that his mother has had experiences, he has had experiences, and it isn't unusal that I would have experiences. It excites me to know that I have this ability, but frightens me at the same time.

I have had quite a few paranormal experiences throughout my life, but one recent one was a dream I had in which a good friend that had just passed away and myself were sitting in a noisy, crowded diner and she was telling me not to worry, she was fine, and ready to go and move on. When I woke up, I sat straight up and could still smell the french fries from the diner in the dream, and that smell lasted about an hour before it dissipated.

I have had a couple paranormal things happen to me as well. When i was younger and my great grandpa died i looked down the hall and saw him walk by then i got the call that he just died. I have also seen a woman apparition in my room. I woke up out of a dead sleep and jumped up to see this ghost and she looked at me and it felt like a jolt of electricity went through my body. that was probably early summer. Just here recently i saw her again i woke up and didn't jump up because the i have become used to the feeling. saw her and shivers went down my spine. feeling like a jolt of electricity just the same as last time.

I don't know if exciting is the right word. It was draining, terrifying and awe-inspiring.

This is very interesting. I always heard of phones being a connection to the other side. When my grandmother passed our phone rang and so did my brothers at the same time. Then we found out she had passed at that exact time the phone rang. Also you should look into the history of your home. This lady may have lived there at one time and may be trying to communicate with you.

when we have the ability to be in touch with someone we love who has passed is frightening. But once it happens I think we somewhat adjust to it. I wish I had another visit from my grandmother. I hope not to be frighten like I was the first time I saw her. I think that is why I see her more in my dreams. Always use your abilities towards light and loved and you should have nothing to fear.

Clouds
Clouds are heavenly bodies of moisture, hovering above us like protective angels as they float around our world. Angels love to use these natural wonders to show us signs because they can be shaped in any fashion and are spectacular to look at. Clouds are one of the most common ways that we receive “I love you” messages from Heaven. The angels' clouds are physical signs that they’re with us around the clock.

Feathers
Feathers may be the ultimate angelic sign. Although feathers come in all different sizes and colors, they're amazing signs because they're directly connected with the thought, prayer, or question that you had in mind. Rarely will you find one left by the angels without knowing what it means. Either you’ll come across it while thinking about something or you'll immediately sense the association upon finding it. I think that it is possible that she may be trying to communicate with me. I have been trying to find out the history before but cant seem to get much on it. I know that No one else in my house has seen her. there have been shadows and the sound of doors closing that everyone has heard but it does seem to revolve around me. same thing was going on with my last house that was destroyed by ivan. I would always wake up and go to get something to drink only to realize the TV was on when it was off when i went to sleep. I have always had some paranormal activity happen to me. I guess i must be very sensitive to these forces. I noticed that you mentioned angels using numbers. well ever since my house was destroyed i have constantly seen the 116 number everywhere. I also thought there was something that was trying to tell me something since it reoccurred on a regular basis.

Every once in awhile something will touch my shoulder when I go to bed. A few months ago I was cooking an my shoulder started feeling weird so I had my boyfriend look at it, there were scratch marks on it, my hands were covered in food, so I didn't do it and if anyone else would have done it I'm pretty sure I would have said, why are you scratching me. Anyway that night something touched me, like a reassuring kind of feeling, like everything was okay.

When my mom died in a car accident, I knew she had been in an accident but nothing else. (My family wasn't telling me much because I was so young.) She didn't die right away, anyway, I had fallen asleep. I had a dream that was unlike any other. In my dream I was sleeping, just as I was in reality. There was a knock on the door. I got up and walked thru the living room (where my big bro and sis were crying) and answered the door. It was my mom. I said, Oh my gosh, guys, Mom's here, she's OK!!! They looked at me like I was crazy and said, "honey, mom is dead."
I said, what? You're crazy, she's right here!! My mom said, they can't see me, come on, let's go for a walk. We went for a walk and talked the whole time, then she said, I love you very much but it's time for me to go, and vanished. I woke up crying hysterically because I knew my mom was dead, and went into the living room, where my big bro and sis were sitting and crying, just like in my dream. I said, mom is dead. They were really freaked out because there was NO way I could have known that, and they told me yes, my dad had just called from the hospital and told them mom had just died.
