I had seizures while growing up. I've been through EEG's, EKG tests. During those, you're in those tubes for testings. Not sure if anyone here has ever had these done, it's scary. Especially when you're not even 12 yr old. Inside the "tubes" you hear just those big knocking sounds, then the lights inside just the way the "box" they had inside the building. I couldn't watch it, cause of the strobe lights.
But, it got me thinking. Maybe the box was just having more of an effect because the spirits were trying to dismantle the EEG's or EKG's the patients were forced to have. It was part of their past, their memory. I watch TV with my headphones on. While the lights were flashing, the clicking sound went with it. That clicking sound is louder like you're in a chamber. I'm only saying, it brought back my own memories of being "tested". It might have had the same effect with the spirits. And this coming from a skeptic. dreammaker |

Are you talking about like what they put you in for an MRI? OMG I've had those and you're right it's scary. Sorry you had to go thru that esp being so young. Yeah the box was intriguing for sure no doubt that's why they invited him on, your points are good, too bad the whole thing had to be eclipsed by that guy's antics.

Dreammaker- that had to been so scary for such a young girl. You make some good points. I could see why there may have been so much reaction to the box by them(spirits). I'd want to try and disconnect it too! It was too bad that the guy ended up giving his own device such bad publicity.

I couldn't watch the whole thing cause of the strobe light, but if you think of it this way.
All Paranormal Groups around the country would be out of business if this box really did work. Thanks guys. A long story, but all worth it for my health in the long run ((HUGS)) Thanks Rahski for posting this for me. I was having problems the past few days logging on. |

Just curious dreammaker and you totally don't have to answer, I take Neurontin for my migraines, but I understand it's also for epilepsy. They have found that migraines are somehow connected to epilepsy but they don't know why/how yet. Do you take anything similar? Again forgive me if I'm being too personal, and I understand if you don't want to answer! XO

Hi, Lucy. No. I don't mind.
You need to remember that when there's "surveys" done, they're not always 100% correct. Especially when their not from your own doctor. Ask him or her first. I'm always saying that. As for migranes vs epileptic. Again, I'm certain that every person is different with different health problems. Of course, this I know you're aware. I'm 41 now. For years it was unkown to why I was having epilepsy (I can't spell today). Now, after blood tests, other tests., it's caused from lack of calcium. I was born with Fetal Alcohol Syndrom. They want to call it Symptom now as if it'll go away. So, everyone is different. I can't express this enough. Ask your own doctor before trusting any of these surveys you may hear about on the news, their so called "health watch" part. I'm sorry to hear about your migranes ((HUGS)), I know of a lot of people that suffer from that. Every person is different, so any medicines is different, and also have MANY different side effects you need to be aware of. As for my seizures. I'm taking Lamectal. DO NOT TAKE IT just because I mentioned it. I've been on it for a few years now, and it's been a 100% worth all of those tests I went through after my Thyroid surgery (also connected with the calcium) On the walls of each patient room, there's a couple of signs for patients. "You have a right to ask if I washed my hands." "Have you asked enough questions?" There's a *so called rule* were there's only 20 minutes per patient. Doctor's normally ignore that rule. I hope that helped. HUGS |

Hi Dreammaker, oh thanks! Oh gosh no I'd never take anything without talking to my neurologist! The neurontin has helped , with some mild side effects. Sorry to hear about your troubles!!! How awful! I HATE going to Dr's! I'm sure you already know but try eating spinach salad for calcium, I only know that cuz my doc suggested it when I was anemic (don't eat meat) EEEEWWWW I have a right to ask if you washed your hands!!! LMAO! Haven't seen that one, that's funny to me!!! XO
