Yes, I am aware that I might be committing heresy by recommending a franchise gelateria, but this was honestly and truly my favorite in all of Florence. They have an incredibly wide variety of flavors, from run of the mill chocolate and frutti di bosco to the more unusual fare of chili spiced chocolate, and they are all so good. I tried a few less conspicuous gelaterias, but I always ended up returning to Very Good for a sugar cone with tiramisu and Bacio (an Italian chocolate).

I know there's one by Santa Maria Novella. There's another one near the city's shopping center as well.
