I have a perfect suggestion on where to go from New Zealand because I was there only a short time ago with my wife. The Cook Islands !

Why not leave New Zealand and stop in the Cook Islands say Aitutaki or Rarotonga? Not only are they beautiful but much less expensive than the French Polynesian Islands such as Bora Bora or Tahiti. The Cook Islands are on the way back to the USA and have a direct flight from New Zealand.

The Cook Islands are a uncommerical beautiful set of South Pacific Islands. Aitutaki has a bay as beautiful as Bora Bora. The main island, Rarotonga, has no stop signs, no stop lights, no building taller than a palm tree and a single road that runs in a circular pattern which takes about 1 hour to get around the whole island.

Rarotonga also runs on "Raro" time which means no one really cares what time it is. The natural beauty of Raro and Aitutaki is so spectacular that a major TV network is thinking about shooting Survivor there.

Take someone who has been to both places suggestion on this. The Cook Islands would be a excellent stop for a couple of days out of New Zealand. Many Kiwi's take their holiday there so you can probably ask someone in Queenstown about them.

Enjoy! Hope you take my suggestion up and check them out.
