On May 23 a group of fifty, including over two dozen 'real bearded' Santas will begin a perilous journey to Alaska and the North Pole aboard the Diamond Princess.

"Perilous" only because they will be entering the world of real cruise guests and will be encountering children and families who will want to know why so many Santas? (Actually one of the Santas is the real Santa. You just have to figure out who.

We are looking for suggestions on excursions that we should consider. Our average age of the Santas is 59, weight around 256, married for over 24 years. We will visit Ketchikan, Juneau, Skagway, and Anchorage. From there we will take a train through the Denali national park stay at the Denali Princess for two nights and then onto Fairbanks for two nights. Our last day is June 2, when we will drop in at the Santa Claus House at the North Pole.

We welcome any suggestion comments or questions.
