I could use some advice if anyones willing to chime in. Im going to be heading up to Anchorage for a few days(i work for an airline...read free airfare!!!). I really have no idea what to do or what to expect. Any ideas would be appreciated

Things to do:

Take a walk on "the Planet Walk". It's a 10-mile trail with a great view of Mt. Mckinley. (You don't have to go all 10 miles)

Consider taking a 1-day (7-hour ocean cruise) to see the whales, puffins, otters, glaciers, etc. out of the Kenai Peninsula.

Eat at Winter Thyme restaurant especially if they have "white salmon". Also, eat at Corsair (fine dining).
