The Getty Museum is stunning, while Rodeo Drive has famously excellent shopping. The Melrose area of LA has funkier shopping options. 3rd Street Promenade of Santa Monica is also one not to miss when it comes to shopping.

There are always the traditional tourist things to do: Disneyland, Universal Studios, the Hollywood sign, Grauman's Chinese Theatre, Greek Theatre, Hollywood Bowl.
