Il Fornaio at New York-New York: This is a very good Italian restaurant with authentic food. We love the waitstaff - and, of course, the chefs.

ESPN Zone at New York-New York: A sports fans' dream but is also bearable for non-sports-enthusiasts because of the delicious food (HUGE portions).

The Margarita Grill at Las Vegas Hilton: EXCELLENT Mexican food. Large portions, accomodating waitstaff, plenty of choices. We're from New Mexico, so take our word for it on the quality of the Mexican.

Quarks inside the Star Trek Experience at Las Vegas Hilton: Non-Trekkies (such as myself) might be initially put off - there are aliens wandering around and everything is a bit spacey. But the food is very tasty - good enough for me to put up with the marauding aliens.

Dan Marino's next to Hooters Hotel & Casino: I was VERY impressed with the food at Marino's. I guess - considering it's Marino - I was expecting sports bar fare, but the food is elegant and EXCELLENT. Best meal we had in Vegas the last time out.

House of Blues at Mandalay Bay: It's cajun/soul food, as you would expect. I enjoy the food and the atmosphere - the popcorn crawfish is to die for.

We liked the ESPN Zone also. We've also enjoyed Kahunaville at Treasure Island, Regale at Excaliber and Le Café Île St. Louis at Paris.
They all have great food and service!

I´ll add my vote for Quarks and NY, NY, which also has a great deli. Both are unique and should be experienced by all.

We stayed at the NY, NY and was nice, I ate at the america and ESPN Zone, the food was very good. We ate at the Harley Cafe it was very good. I ate at the Luxor buffet, it was so good, we saw carrott top that night also. we tried to visit as many places as we could. one of us had the flu before we got there so we had to limit what we did. next to the last day we were there we drove over to the hoover dam, that is a site to see. My husband didn't have a big appetite so we didn't get to eat at many buffet's.

Thanks for the info about Marino's...I plan on going there when we visit in April. The best Vegas buffet I ever had was the Bellagio lunch buffet. It was fantastic, and had fabulous desserts!

Very good info...we're going in April and staying at NYNY. When we were there two years ago, Boa was excellent! Very good ambiance and great food. The buffet at Rio was good, with a great dessert selection as well. There was an Italian restaurant at Paris that we went to (can't remember the name unfortunately) but very tasty, and price wise was very reasonable too!

We ate at America in NY NY after going to Zumantiy. It was really great, portions were a good size for the price.

Also went to Dick's in the Excaliber. Have been to the one in Myrtle Beach twice, and loved it, so had to take my friends who have never been before. If you have never been, the food is good. The atmosphere is that it is a 'dive' so to speak, and the servers are rude, but that is their job, and how they are supposed to be. Our server gave us a note pad and a pen, and told us to write down our order. They make you big paper hats with less then nice things about you on them. If you have a sense of humor, and go for the experience, it is alot of fun. Our server was rude and mean to us, but as I said that was her job, and she got mad when we never got our mozzerella sticks, and took them off the bill when we finally did get them. Our overall service was great, and we had alot of fun. We played napkin volleyball with the table behind us, using the napkins all over the floor. Alot of fun and highly recommend it.

The Rio has 2 buffet's. We went to Carnival World Buffet. It is the biggest buffet I have ever seen. If you can't find something you like here, you are in trouble. We actually bought dinner tickets for the lunch price from the discount ticket place by the Fashion Show Mall.

Cafe Lago at Ceaser's was fabulous. It is a buffet, and while it is ALOT smaller the Carnival World (let's face it, who isn't smaller then that) the food was wonderful. This was one of our favorites that we went to. Service was great as well.

We went to America in NY NY after Zumanity one night. Food was great, portions good size, price good, and service was excellent.

Carnival World Buffet at the Rio is awesome. We got the dinner buffet for the lunch price by purchasing the tickets at the discount ticket place at the Fashion Show Mall. This is the biggest buffet I have ever seen. If you can't find something to eat here, you are in trouble. Food was good, as was the service.

Dick's Last Resort at the Excaliber is good as well. Be warned that the servers are rude, but that is their job. Food is good, servers are really good dispite what they may say to you. When we didn't get our mozzerella sticks before our entree's came out, our server got upset about it, got the mozerella sticks, and them had them removed from the check. They also make big paper hats that at the Myrtle Beach location resemble giant condoms with not the nicest stuff written about you on it, but it is funny.

Cafe Lago at Ceaser's is also wonderful. It is a buffet, and no where near the size of Carnival World (but let's face it, who is?) but the food was awesome, as was the service. This was our favorite place.

It is all about the Paris buffet for me. Best atmosphere and food of all buffets in Vegas by far.

The Excalibur Buffet would be amazing Its worth for the $$ Spent

I enjoyed the Hard Rock Cafe & a sushi bar at Luxors. Downtown is full of good places to eat, such as at Four Queens, Gold Nugget, & Main Street Station.

O.M.G..... I can't believe that no one has mentioned the buffet at the Wynn! I've read a lot about NY NY. But, to me..... the food wasn't that great. Did I miss something? As for the atmosphere and treatment; Well, Las Vegas does boast about being close to the REAL THING in each of it's themed Casinos. lol... Get a grip will yah. It's all about Food & Fun. Yah walk a little; Then Eat. Walk some more; Then eat again. And repeat this process as often as you like! Who could ask for more? The buffet at TI is pretty good! I tend to visit there just before lunch. I can honesty say that I have never been let down at TI. Heck, or at any other places that I've visisted in Vegas. I frequent Vegas at least 2X per year; And every time there is something different looking me right in the face. Something that I'm certain I've by passed many times on a prior visit. But I have not made it down to the FRIED TWINKIES down on Freemont street yet. Any feedback on the Fried Twinkies anyone? Do anyone rec. drinking before or after having one of those monsters?

Absolutely, the Wynn buffet is the best if not the best in town its in the top 3 it will run around 34 dollars on weekends but it is worth every penny, gorge yourself on king crab legs and shrimp, and I mean KING CRAB, not snow crab.its the best

so what is the best buffet you think

I have been to the buffet at The Wynn and was not as impressed with it as I was with the buffet at The Bellagio. We must have spent three hours at The Bellagio and never had the same thing twice unless it was so good we wanted another helping. The America restaurant at The NY NY had a large menu with lots of choices. We also had a very good time at the ESPN Zone at the NY NY. We went to the restaurant at The Hard Rock and it was good as well, but I feel you are paying for the atmosphere at those places and the food is a little over priced. Speaking of expensive, we went to The Room At The Top at The Stratsophere. The view is unbelievable, the food is okay but verrrry expensive and everything is ala carte.

How about the buffet at MGM Grand...mussels and crab legs are yummy!
