We thought it was great. He seems to be genuinely enthusiastic and interested. Too many shows are showing recycled design ideas and not enough attention to fine fabricators or showing people making things passionately. Sounds like a very good show, more please.
I really enjoyed this show. Ian Grant is great, and I enjoyed the way he mixed it up by showing us everything from the dusty antique warehouse to high polish Christie's. I would definitely watch more.

We thought it was great. What a unique idea for a show. The host seems genuinely interested and also very entertaining and likable. We would for sure watch again!
What an interesting show, and we love the personality of the host Ian Grant! We could have watched it for a lot longer, will it be an hour show?
The only downer was trying to get through all the links for the Pilot week programs to view the video clips and even to reach this blog. Please make the process a LOT easier. None of the thumbnails for the links to any of the pilots bolgs or videos come up (we tried on Macs and PCs) Things were so buried we almost gave up trying.
I thought the show was really great! Ian was very enthusiastic, funny, informative and entertaining. And the show is unique, I can't think of anything that's similar.
I'd love to see him traveling in other countries. Or maybe even see him in frequent traveler's homes with him commenting on how to bring various unique pieces together.
p.s. I agree with the comment about it being difficult to find this place to give positive feedback.
I really enjoyed watching this show & would love more -- mostly from different locations around the world, but also from some additional spots around the U.S. He has a nice mix of interesting knowledge and a sense of humor. Loved that he points out things for us viewers to look for & notice when we go looking at possible items to buy. Like that even though there was something he couldn't buy for his shop (due to price), he still gave great advice for viewers who might want to buy it directly (meaning, the fabulous woodwork). Thanks for a cool new show that's different from what else is already out there!
I would like to say I completely agree with previous posters & I'm disappointed with the Travel Channel's web site. Please fix the broken links! The web site was hard to navigate to get here. When I clicked on the "watch video & take survey" button, all I saw was a photo on the left, two broken image links in the middle, then the survey on the right. I assumed the survey was the only option for me to give feedback. It took me a while to realize that the broken links weren't just missing photos, but instead the video & this blog. (I eventually tested the broken links to find out what they were for.) I'm guessing other people have been stumped by the broken links, given the low number of blog entries I've seen on these pilot shows. As a person with my own public relations firm, I can't imagine that the folks at Travel Channel are going to get as much out of this blog as they could have, as I'm guessing that few people know it exists. Obviously, some people have figured it out, and kudos to them! These links have been broken since I first started looking at this pilot section a few weeks ago.
I enjoyed the show. The host was informative, and I think that is one of the benefits of a show like this. I would like to see this made into a series. There are several shows out there that are somewhat similar, but overall I do like the concept and the host.
As an eBay seller and purchaser/collector of antique and collectible items I have finally found a show on television that resonates with what I do. I found it interesting and it looks like many others did as well... Thank for airing the show. I hope that it becomes a regular series!
i just read that this show was picked up . congrats! i think the concept and the host are very good. im looking forward to seeing it. i wish i could say the same for art attack! what a disaster! the guy is like crocodile hunter in a musueum! terrible host!
