Went to Vegas over New Years, here are my favourites:

L'Atelier de Joel Robuchon at the MGM Grand (not to be mixed up with Joel Robuchon, which offers $300 tasting menus)

Nobu at Hard Rock

* * *

I found generally that the Wolfgang Puck resto's were overrated - and there was egg shell in one of our souffles, we visited the one at the Venetian. Some of the older restaurants like Andre's French Restaurant - had old-style French food which was too much, over the top, and not refined at all. Enjoy Wink

I would highly recommend Bradley Ogden in Caesars Palace. We ordered off of the lounge menu ($29.00 price fixe) The Kobe beef steak burger with blue cheese as well as the fish and chips were absolutely spot on and delicious! We received very attentive service. The dessert of butterscotch pudding was also an unexpected treat. While not something I would usually order when eating out, it ended up being a smooth, rich and flavorful end to the meal. We also received an amuse bouche (fried frog leg with cucumber, topped with a flavorful sauce) and salad before the main courses arrived. I would say this is one of the best bargains around if you are looking for a great, upscale atmosphere and exceptional food without the high price tag.
