Go up the Stratosphere Tower & get a birdseye view of the city to get yourself oriented.
Visit the Natural History Museum at 900 N Las Vegas Blvd to get a little background knowledge.
Visit Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay & the lions at MGM Grand.
Between you gambling sprees, view the Fremont Street Experience each night.
And before you leave, go to the Bonanza Gift Shop if you absolutely need some cheap, gaudy souveniers for family, friends, & co-workers back home.

be careful when around the stratosphere, if you are on the street at night there, don't be alone. it is a very high crime area.

The Dolphin Habitat and Magic Garden at The Mirage was fabulous.
